Nigeria Inflation Accelerates to 21.47% in November

Nigeria’s annual inflation rose to 21.47 percent in November on mounting pressure from energy costs and increasing food prices, the National Bureau of Statistics said in its monthly inflation report.
On a month-on-month basis, price levels in November were 0.15 percent higher than in October, when the annual inflation was 21.09 percent, the agency said. Compared with an annual inflation rate of 15.40 percent recorded in the same period last year, price levels rose 6.07 percent on the year.
